317 BBQ is kicking off 2025 with an exciting evolution in its craft beer offerings. After an 18-month partnership with Centerpoint Brewing, 317 BBQ has decided to expand its horizons, welcoming additional Indiana craft breweries into the mix. The result? The back of 317 BBQ will now be known as 317 BBQ N’ Tap Room.
This shift brings a new energy to the Broad Ripple staple. While Centerpoint Brewing remains a key partner and will continue to occupy taps on the wall, 317 BBQ is thrilled to announce two new additions: Chilly Water Brewing Company and Bad Dad Brewing Co. These award-winning breweries bring their distinct flavors to the taproom, offering guests even more choices to pair with 317 BBQ’s signature dishes.
New Year, New Beer
“Our goal is to bring a fresh take to a business that sorely needs to shift the focus to the positive,” said a 317 BBQ spokesperson. With this in mind, 317 BBQ N’ Tap Room is launching several exciting initiatives designed to celebrate craft beer and foster community:
- Meet the Brewer Nights: Get up close and personal with the people behind the beer.
- Cross Promotions and Collaborations: Look out for exclusive beer collaborations and combo flights.
- Food Pairings: Enjoy carefully curated pairings that highlight the best of beer and barbecue.
- Fun and Games: Dive into vintage video games, over 100 board games, and enjoy some of Indy’s best live music.
Each participating brewery will take part in a 60-day engagement, during which they’ll promote not only their own beers but also the vibrant programming that 317 BBQ N’ Tap Room already offers. This rotating lineup will keep things fresh and exciting, with the goal of hosting 6-8 breweries at any given time.
A Platform for Local Brewers
317 BBQ N’ Tap Room is also committed to supporting regional breweries, offering them an extended “tap takeover” opportunity and a platform to launch new beers. Self-distributing brewers will receive preference, ensuring that local, independent beer remains at the forefront. By incorporating a mix of established names and up-and-coming regional brewers, 317 BBQ N’ Tap Room aims to be a hub for Indiana’s craft beer scene.
A Continued Partnership with Centerpoint Brewing
Though the name of the space is changing, the relationship with Centerpoint Brewing remains strong. Centerpoint will continue to produce and serve their award-winning beers at their downtown Indianapolis brewery and taproom, as well as distribute throughout the state via Zink Distributing. Their ongoing presence at 317 BBQ N’ Tap Room is a testament to the success of the partnership and a shared passion for great beer.
